OADDL is conducting Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) testing

OADDL is conducting Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) testing as per FEDERAL ORDER, effective Monday, April 29, 2024 Milk from all lactating dairy cattle MUST be tested for HPAI within 7 days prior to interstate (between states) movement. OADDL will also test milk from lactating cows in the following situations: 1. Dairy cattle suspected of disease due to being sick (must have a FADI number from the State Vet’s Office) 2. Producers interested in the disease status of their apparently healthy animals 3. Samples taken from other animals in dairies associated with the HPAI disease event

Free testing for Equine Neurologic Diseases

The Oklahoma Department of Agriculture Food and Forestry (ODAFF) is subsidizing testing for Oklahoma horses with clinical signs of central nervous system disease. Testing is provided by OADDL

2023 Show Swine Testing

Swine must be tested negative for Brucellosis and Pseudorabies on or after November 10 to be eligible to show through OYE without additional testing.

Covid-19 PCR Testing Ends at OADDL

September 3, 2020 was the last day of high-volume COVID-19 PCR testing on human samples at OADDL. We started receiving human samples on March 31, 2020 and have since tested a total of 111, 093 samples.
