The Oklahoma Department of Agriculture Food and Forestry (ODAFF) is subsidizing testing for Oklahoma horses with clinical signs of central nervous system disease. Testing is provided by OADDL

2023 Show Swine Testing

Swine must be tested negative for Brucellosis and Pseudorabies on or after November 10 to be eligible to show through OYE without additional testing.

Created in 1991 by the late Dr. Louie Stratton (OSU CVM ’55), the first director of the College of Veterinary Medicine’s Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital, the Stratton Staff Award honors a deserving staff member for his or her outstanding service or contributions to the college. Nominees must be full-time employees of the college for three or more years.

Covid-19 PCR Testing Ends at OADDL

September 3, 2020 was the last day of high-volume COVID-19 PCR testing on human samples at OADDL. We started receiving human samples on March 31, 2020 and have since tested a total of 111, 093 samples.

New Faces at OSU’s College of Veterinary Medicine

Oklahoma State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine recently welcomed several new faculty members who bring expertise in theriogenology, anesthesia, and pathology to the college. Joining the Department of Veterinary Clinical Sciences are: Drs. LI-Jen Chang, lecturer in anesthesia; Dale Kelley, assistant professor of theriogenology; and Fabio Pinaffi, assistant professor of theriogenology.
